THE WINDOW AND THE CORNER

In this four-part lecture series, Executive Director Adam Lerner presented a history of art from the late nineteenth century to the present in terms of philosophical issues. Appearing in art as a shift in defining metaphor appearing as the window to the corner, Adam presented an analysis of major artists of the last one hundred years including the works of Pierre Bonnard, Joseph Beuys, Yves Klein, Mark Rothko, Bruce Nauman, Richard Serra, Felix Gonzalez-Torres and Daniel Libeskind.
